Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion:

A modern, safe and virtually painless, alternative to chemical peels, usually used for skin problems such as acne, fine lines and sun
damage.

This system uses a highly controlled flow of fine, medical grade
crystals to remove the dead, outermost layer of skin, revealing the new, living skin cells that are soft, smooth and receptive to nutrients.

What is Microdermabrasion?

Microdermabrasion is a system of intense exfoliation and resurfacing using ultra fine crystals that rejuvenate the skin. The crystals work as a gentle abrasive on the skin to remove dead skin cells layer by layer. The vacuum action of the machine stimulates the circulation and promotes increased blood flow to the area. The production of collagen and elastin is stimulated, which results in a firmer, more youthful looking skin

F.A.Q’s

How quickly will my client see results?

They will see results immediately and with each subsequent treatment their skin will continue to look progressively better.

How many treatments should clients have?

We recommend a course of 10, people with acne or acne scarring might need more treatments and we recommend a monthly maintenance treatment after the course has finished to help maintain the results achieved.

How often should clients have a treatment?

Treatments are usually performed every 7 to 10 days.

Are there any side effects to the treatment?

After the treatment, the skin may feel tight with mild redness. Therefore it is important that clients use a good moisturiser. These effects normally subside within 24 hours of treatment.
